Sun Shores

The Sun Shores Drive project was thoughtfully designed to transform a standard backyard into a layered outdoor living retreat — balancing structure, softness, and atmosphere.

This rendering explores the integration of architectural hardscape with curated planting and ambient lighting to create a space that feels both refined and welcoming.

The design features a custom paver patio centered around a natural stone fire pit, surrounded by classic Adirondack seating to encourage gathering and conversation. Raised retaining wall planters introduce dimension and guide the spatial flow, while wood trellises layered against a textured stone backdrop add vertical interest and rhythm.

Plant selections were curated to provide structure and softness — including sculptural blue agave, flowering shrubs, vines, and privacy greenery. Turf installation maintains a clean, low-maintenance lawn aesthetic while preserving visual warmth.

Strategic landscape lighting, uplights, and suspended outdoor string lights elevate the space at night, enhancing texture, depth, and ambiance. A heavy rain drain system and drip irrigation were incorporated to ensure long-term performance and sustainability.
